There will be near record highs on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 31, when Halloween is celebrated.

That's a big change from last year, when trick-or-treaters had to contend with chilly, damp conditions, with snow flurries in some spots.

"We're looking at a lot of mild weather overall during the day on Halloween, with some places being downright warm," AccuWeather Lead Long-Range Forecaster Paul Pastelok said.

Clouds will increase overnight Thursday into Friday, Nov. 1, and there could be a new round of showers on Friday. Possible precipitation could occur from just after daybreak until early in the afternoon.

The high Friday will be in the upper 60s.

The outlook for Saturday, Nov. 2, calls for sunny skies and a high temperature in the upper 50s to around 60.

It will be time to "fall back" for the end of Daylight saving time, setting clocks back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
